December 2012 In Posse was awarded engineering services for the new York County Conservation District office project in York, PA.  The project is being designed by LSC Design of York, PA and will be designed to achieve LEED Platinum certification. PECO Energy, an Exelon Company, announced it has achieved LEED-EB:OM Gold certification for the Baldwin, Christian Street, G & Luzerne and Plymouth Service Center buildings.  In Posse is a key member of the PECO LEED team providing engineering, energy services and commissioning services for PECO’s ten building LEED for Existing Buildings initiative.  The most recent certifications bring the total of PECO buildings certified under the initiative to nine. November 2012 In Posse volunteered at the Guild House West community garden.  We spent the morning preparing resident’s garden plots for the winter including weeding, planting winter ground cover crops and repairing fences. Shannon Kaplan and Rob Diemer presented and facilitated break-out sessions at the Green Your Schools workshop sponsored by the Bucks – Mont Branch of the Delaware Valley Green Building Council. Aaron Dahlstrom presented at the local AIA conference in Philadelphia – Design on the Delaware.  He was part of a panel discussion about “High Performance Building for Demanding Commercial Projects”.
