March 2014 In Posse welcomes our newest mechanical engineer to the staff – Tom Genevie!  We will post more information about Tom, including his bio and photo in the coming month. In Posse welcomes Bill Aird to the team. Bill is our new Drexel Co-Op and will be working with us for the next 6 months on commissioning and Living Building Challenge Red List research. Shannon Kaplan is a panelist at the Tri-State Sustainability Symposium at Temple University.  Shannon will be speaking Friday March 7th at 9:20am in the session: Let there be Light! Shannon Kaplan is presenting the Living Building Challenge at Philadelphia University with Chris Lee from Re:Vision Architecture.  This is an open event so please contact us if you would like to attend.  Shannon is a Living Building Challenge Ambassador in the Philadelphia Region. February 2014 Rob Diemer and Shannon Kaplan will be presenting a webinar on Building the Future: “Net Zero in Action: Case Study MLK School.”  With Jana Silsby from Perkins Eastman.  The webinar will be held February 5th at 3pm. Shannon Kaplan will be presenting with Mary Alcarz from AKF on DC lighting systems as part of the Lights and Bites series at the AIA Center on February 20th.  The presentation is titled “Smart Buildings: Transformation to Profit from Renewable Energy Sources. In Posse is participating in an AKF/In Posse internal team challenge for the Biggest Loser.  Feel free to encourage our staff as we work out way in to greater health. January 2014 In Posse celebrates the start of our 5th year!  Founded in 2010 In Posse is still going strong and keeping our focus on sustainable buildings and optimal building system performance. Rob Diemer will once again be teaching Integrated Design at the University of Pennsylvania in the Master of Environmental Building Design Program. Shannon Kaplan is also teaching again in the Sustainable Design Studio at Philadelphia University in the Master of Science in Sustainable Design Program.
